What do I need to be considered for the Red Graduate Program ?
You don’t necessarily need a logistics or transport-related degree, but you do need an interest in how supply chains work and have achieved a minimum of a 2:2. Whilst relevant experience is preferred, the attitude and personality you bring to the role is much more important. You’ll need bags of enthusiasm, be a logical thinker and possess the ability to combine social skills and energy with common sense and judgement. Essentially, we need people who can complete tasks and lead teams.
What does the Red Graduate Program entail ?
This is a two year programme consisting of four six-month placements in different areas of the business such as warehousing, transport, planning, business development and support services. You’ll be working with some well-known household names including Marks & Spencer, British Airways, Vauxhall Motors and ASOS, so you can be assured of a varied role.
In the first year you’ll gain operational experience in both the Logistics and Transport divisions. In year two we’ll develop a bespoke programme depending on your specific area of interest, and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in projects and support functions. There is even the opportunity to work overseas, or with some of our customers on a secondment basis.
Where does the Red Graduate Program lead ?
Throughout the programme we are looking to cultivate our leaders and managers of tomorrow. Following successful completion of the Red Graduate Program, you’ll have a good idea of which area of logistics you’d like to work in and we hope to find a role for you in our business. If we are unable to offer a suitable position, you can be assured you'll have the neccessary skills and experience to secure employment elsewhere in the industry.
